2018ACT英語六大考試考點

　  ACT考試英語部分的六個考點:標點、語法、句子結構、寫作技巧、文章結構、文體。前面三個部分的問題組成了“用法與結構”的得分。后三個部分組成了“修辭技巧”的得分。

　　Punctuation (13%). Questions in this category test your knowledge of theconventions of internal and end-of-sentence punctuation, with emphasis on therelationship of punctuation to meaning (for example, avoiding ambiguity,indicating appositives).

　　標點符號(13%)這方面問題考察考生對標點在文章內和句子結尾的用法，重點考察舉例、避免混淆、同位格方面的標點運用。

　　Grammar and Usage (16%). Questions in this category test your understanding ofagreement between subject and verb, between pronoun and antecedent, and betweenmodifiers and the word modified; verb formation; pronoun case; formation ofcomparative and superlative adjectives and adverbs; and idiomatic usage.

　　語法及運用(16%)這方面問題考察考生對主語和動詞、代詞和先行詞、修飾語和被修飾詞、動詞形式、代詞格、形容詞和副詞的比較級和最高級形式及習慣用法的理解。

　　Sentence Structure (24%). Questions in this category test your understanding ofrelationships between and among clauses, placement of modifiers, and shifts inconstruction.

　　句子結構(24%)這方面問題考察考生對從句關系、修飾詞的使用及句型轉換的理解和運用。

　　RhetoricalSkills“修辭技巧”

　　Strategy (16%). Questions in this category test how well you develop a giventopic by choosing expressions appropriate to an essay's audience and purpose;judging the effect of adding, revising, or deleting supporting material; andchoosing effective opening, transitional, and closing sentences.

　　修辭技巧(16%)這方面考察考生通過選擇適應讀者和寫作目的的表達，達到對指定話題的充分展開。通過增加，修正，刪減一些支撐性材料，判斷對文章的影響。確定合適的開篇，過渡和結束段。

　　Organization (15%). Questions in this category test how well you organize ideasand judge the relevance of statements in context (making decisions about order,coherence, and unity).

　　修辭組織(15%)這方面考察考生對觀點的組織，判斷對文章上下文的組織是否恰當。(如文章順序，前后一致，全篇的統一性)

　　Style (16%). Questions in this category test how well you select precise andappropriate words and images, maintain the level of style and tone in an essay,manage sentence elements for rhetorical effectiveness, and avoid ambiguouspronoun references, wordiness, and redundancy.

　　修辭類型(16%)通過讓考生選擇準確的、恰當的詞語和比喻，保持文章的語氣一致和格式不變，維持句子成分的修辭效果，避免不當的代詞使用，詞不達意和表述累贅
